Lap-a-Thon for ALS!

The ALS Cycle of Hope was celebrated by over 100 children cycling on Friday, June 7th.  The Grade 2/3/4/5 students, all from Deep Cove Elementary school, gathered at Parkland Middle school's track to ride as many laps as they could within one hour! Warren Hamm, team member of the ALS Cycle of Hope 2013, organized this amazing Lap-a-thon to help raise ALS awareness and hope for families living with ALS. The event raised $1283.15  for ALSCanada! We are so proud of our caring community! Thank you for your support!
