ALS Cycle of Hope 2014 – Launched!

Today the team wore the ALS Cycle of Hope cycling kits for the first time.  We have been training since March and have come together as a team with a common goal – to raise ALS awareness and inspire hope for families living with ALS.  We wear our new kits with pride and honour.  Please visit our team’s bio page to learn more about the team members.

Thank you to our guest speakers Mayor Dean Fortin, Jack Knox (Times Colonist), George Stewardson (Past President of ALS BC&Yukon), Jennifer Pendray (special friend & teammate) and Peter Grant (who shared his own personal story).  Thank you also to John Espley from Accent Inns for joining us and Bill Fry from Trek for hosting.

A special thank you to the Cycle of Hope co-founders, Cindy Lister and Robin Farrell.  It is their passion, energy and vision that makes this project possible.

And finally, thank you to all our families, friends and

supporters – together we are making a difference!
